Mauritius Golf Tournaments

Mauritius Open / Mauritius Commercial Bank Open

The Mauritius Open was a golf tournament played in Mauritius since 1994. As from 2009 the tournament was superseded by a new European Seniors Tour event, named the Mauritius Commercial Bank Open.

The Mauritius Commercial Bank Open is organized by the Mauritius Commercial Bank and hosted by the Constance Belle Mare Plage.

Lying along two kilometers of white sandy beach on the eastern coast of Mauritius, Constance Belle Mare Plage is set in a 15 hectares tropical garden and provides a spectacular backdrop for some of the leading Senior players.

The Mauritius Commercial Bank Open tournament succeeds the Mauritius Open which has been played at the spectacular resort since 1994. The 54 hole event is played over Constance Belle Mare Plage’s Legend and Links Golf Courses.

Constance Belle Mare Plage, which founded the Mauritius Open during 1994, also promotes Mauritius Commercial Bank Open tournament, with the support of title sponsor Mauritius Commercial Bank.

Mauritius Golf Masters

The Four Seasons Resort Mauritius Hosts the Mauritius Golf Masters at Anahita Golf Course. The resort invites fans to get into the swing with all the golf action and enjoy luxury accommodation at the resort.

With a championship Ernie Els designed golf course, breathtaking oceanfront holes and glorious sunshine, the Mauritius Golf Masters tournament provides ideal setting to enjoy a round of golf alongside the pros.

The 7,372 yard par 72 championship golf course is the inspiration of South African golf pro Ernie Els, and offers a total of six oceanfront holes along the stunning east Mauritius coastline. Intricately woven into the natural scenery and providing spectacular views of the lagoon and the mountains, the course is the only one in the Indian Ocean built to USGA standards (United States Golfing Association).

The Mauritius Golf Masters is the professional golf tournament organized by Canal+ Events in Mauritius. This three days tournament brings together the twenty best golf players of the Allianz Golf Tour (French Professional Circuit) and ten guest players of the European Tour (European Professional Circuit).

The game is played on stroke play (each shot counts). On the first two days, an original pairing (one professional and one amateur) is established. Moreover the competition is preceded by two PRO-AM; the PRO-AMs mix professionals and amateurs in an opening round.

Mercedes Benz Golf Tournament

Mauritius hosted the 11th edition of the most popular golf tournament in India, the Mercedes Benz Golf Tournament.

The Mercedes Benz Golf Tournament was held at the prestigious Le-Touessrok Golf Course. This big group of participants featured Indian corporate jetsetters and owners of Mercedes who were happy to tee-off and spend time in Mauritius appreciating the leisurely relaxation, hospitality and challenging world class golf course.

The golf course at Le Touessrok is one of the popular golf resorts in Mauritius. A golf course that can boast its own island - all to itself - is fairly unique.
The Touessrok Golf Course is built on Ile Aux Cerfs island and is just a seven minute ride by boat from the mainland.
This beautiful golf course was designed by the famous German Golf star, Bernhard Langer. The par 72, 18 hole course plays across water on nearly every hole and the back nine brings the Indian ocean into play nearly every shot.
